Football: Matthews scores five out of six

Karn Matthews scored another five goals, taking his total to 27 this season, as Oxford Blackbirds beat Bullingdon 6-0 in the Oxford Mail Boys League Under 10B league.

Blackbird's other goal came directly from a wind-assisted goal-kick by Joshua Sherlock as a Bullingdon player headed it over his own keeper into the net.

In a close-fought game between the top two teams in the Under 12 B League, leaders Marston Saints edged home 2-1 against Donnington.

Shepherd blasted home from outside the box to put Saints ahead. After Donnington's deflected equaliser, Blount's close-range goal sealed the points for Marston.
