Friends meet

More than 50 people attended the annual meeting of The Friends of St Mary's and St Leonard's churches, Wallingford. The meeting marked 20 years of fundraising to help maintain the town's two historic churches. Tony Barr Taylor, who has been chairman of the Friends since the group was formed, announced his retirement. During the time he has held the post, a total of £81,000 has been raised.   more...
