CHINNOR coach John Brodley was full of praise for new fly half Richard Williams ahead of tomorrow's Powergen National Trophy home clash with Reading Abbey.
Williams joined Chinnor from Grove this summer and his impressive pre-season form made him an automatic pick against Abbey.
And while Brodley stressed promotion from South West 1 remained the priority, he believes tomorrow's first round tie will be a vital test.
Chinnor were unbeaten in their three pre-season fixtures and Brodley believes the team are as strong as they have ever been.
National League sides like Henley Hawks, who host Waterloo in National 2 tomorrow, join the fray later.
