Chinnor coach John Brodley praised full back James Hewitt's commitment ahead of tomorrow's home South West 1 clash with Penryn (2.30pm).
Hewitt missed the first half of the season, but could now play a big role in Chinnor's promotion challenge.
Brodley said: "James is travelling back from Leeds University to play each week.
"He's a great player and just a really good club man all the way through."
Another man to catch the coach's eye is flanker Raakai Maxwell, who starts tomorrow after starring in last week's friendly match against Oxford Harlequins.
Winger Jamie Hitchcock, 18, bagged two tries in the Quins game and is rewarded with a place on the bench alongside Tom Whelan and Danny Burns.
Brodley said: "Danny is becoming more and more versatile. He can play back row and scrum half."
He added: "Penryn are not to be taken lightly at the moment. They scored 48 points against Cheltenham last week.
"They've also signed several second team players from Launceston, who play in National 2. They've definitely strengthened up."
Quins are without fly half Sam Stoop for their home game with Chippenham.
Stoop, who had been a Chinnor target, excelled on his debut last week, but misses out due to work commitments.
Prop Gerry Fourie and lock Louis Eggar are unavailable, but Tit Hocevar returns.
Charlie Mawle returns to partner skipper Andy Henley in the centre.
Witney player-coach Matt Watts has kept faith with the starting XV that defeated Reading 2nd last week for his team's trip to Buckingham in Southern Counties North.
This means flanker Martin Lyall keeps out Will Worrall, who is on the bench alongside Nathan Phillips and Rikki Dore.
Scrum half Steve Risbridger returns for Bicester's crunch BB&O Premier Division clash with Newbury Stags at Oxford Road.
Dickie Walsh, who excelled at No 9 in the Powergen Junior Vase, could switch to centre in place of Pat Coogan (finger injury).
Full back John Rollason and hooker Martin Ewins are doubts, while prop Peter Lee is on holiday.
No 8 Paul Nye, lock Rod Rhymes and full back Fran Heybrook all return for Gosford All Blacks' trip to Swindon College.
Harry Sutton has gone back to Durham University, so Nnamdi Chinye partners Alex Borthwick at centre.
